Technical Account Manager

SCALABLE is actively looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our team where you will manage key customer relationships and play a critical role to ensure our customer*s deployments are successfully implemented and deployed as well as work with our customers on future needs and enhancements as they arise. The ideal candidate will have great project management skills, excellent technical credentials around network protocols and how systems behave, and most importantly, a friendly, consultative approach to addressing customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, escalate and drive satisfactory resolution of customers' technical support and service issues encountered in pursuing specific outcomes with their modeling & simulation scenario while using our products and technologies
  • Actively and reactively drive to create success in challenging situations, through problem solving, attentive communication, and relentless persistence to provide an excellent customer experience while also managing technical issues
  • Collaborate with product engineering, licensing, sales and technical support teams around issue resolution planning, implementation, and knowledge transfer surrounding new/upgraded released products
  • Project Manage technical issues, while dealing with tight deadlines and a host of technical challenges for customer deployments
  • Take initiative to identify opportunities to improve our products and services and reduce the risk/impact of similar future problems
  • Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships with Product Engineering, Sales and Technical Support staff
  • Maintain and expand working knowledge of current and pre-released SCALABLE systems and products, as well as their integration and methods of support delivery

Travel: 10-20%

Qualifications:

  • Technical BS/MS - Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the high tech industry applied to DoD, Military or Defense Contractor
  • Experience monitoring, analyzing, and tuning network, application, and system performance
  • Knowledge of modern networking technology including TCP/IP and application behavior over local and wide area networks
  • Experience with protocol analyzers and knowledge of router and switch configuration a plus
  • Knowledge of and / or experience with C/C++, Java, and / or Python a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel and work directly with clients
